Jim’s Painting – Dress to impress
Is your decking looking tired and worn? Harsh weather elements such as the sun, can damage your timber, causing it to crack. To spruce up your deck, why not give it a coat of paint, stain or varnish. Did you know that stains which contain a higher amount of tint also provide a higher level of protection? This will keep your deck from fading, and impress the in-laws!
Jim’s Pressure Cleaning – Cheers to your chairs
It’s time to wash away unwelcome sticky spots from your outdoor chairs left by melted icy poles and many a spilled drink. It’s as easy as 1-2-3. First, spray your chairs with a hose to wet. Next, brush them down with some dishwashing detergent, and finally rinse off the suds with the hose again. You can also utilise that summertime sun to dry and sanitise your outdoor furniture.
Jim’s Roofing – Unclutter the gutter
Safety should always be your number one priority. When cleaning out the gutters use safety equipment such as gloves and goggles, and wear long sleeves. This not only provides protection from the sun, but also from any small branches and sharp sticks that may fly up and hit you. Safer still, engage the experts at Jim’s Roofing and let us clean the gutters for you!
Jim’s Fencing – Don’t fall in, jump in!
Whilst on the topic of safety, pool fences are definitely a must-have! However, it’s not just about building a fence around your pool. Your fence must meet council regulations. Pool fencing regulations vary from state to state including the height of the fence, structure, self-closing gate mechanisms, and more. Our pool safety inspection is a must this summer.
Jim’s Car Detailing – UV damage, what’s that?
We’ve shared tips for your home, let’s not leave your car in the dust! Cracking and fading – doesn’t sound good right? Over time, ultraviolet (UV) exposure from the sun breaks down the oils and chemicals that keep your tyres strong and flexible. To avoid this nasty surprise, apply a tyre conditioner twice a month. The sidewalls of your tyres will soon be looking wheely good.
