Lifetime Achievement Award
The Jim’s Group lifetime achievement award was created in 2020 to build upon the previous Jim’s Group Hall of Fame. The lifetime achievement award recognises those who have significantly contributed to the success and growth over the years.
Each year we recognise two people within the Jim’s family to receive this award and we thank them for their contribution to the Jim’s story.

Haydar Hussein
Haydar is the most successful Divisional Franchisor in the history of Jim’s Group. Since taking over the cleaning division in 2005 he has grown it from 127 Franchisees to 627 by March 2020, with another 36 in window cleaning and 60 in carpet cleaning. Ably backed by Ali Olmez, he has been responsible for a number of innovations that have benefited Franchisees across the group. His most recent is the development of an enzyme-based disinfection service for clients concerned about Covid-19, which has helped Franchisees to maintain and even build their income when other work has been lacking. He is widely respected and liked by Franchisees, Franchisors and national staff for his modesty and basic decency.
Sharon Connell
Sharon bought a Jim’s Cleaning franchise in May 2014, taking over Regional rights in November of the same year. She then went on to build several Regions, including the launch of Jim’s Cleaning in New Zealand. In 2017 she was asked to take on the Dog Wash Division, growing it from 65 to 117 Franchisees by March 2020. Sharon has pioneered new methods of selling franchises, with a focus on direct personal interviews to give information. She conducts the session in Franchise Sales for the Franchisor induction course. She has also pioneered the ‘diamond’ system of franchisee support, involving very frequent phone calls and a high level of personal and emotional support. Sharon is a warm and engaging woman who appears to be loved by all who know her.

Jim’s Hall of Fame” pre-dated the new Jim’s lifetime achievement award and also recognises the significant contribution that these people have made to the Jim’s Group story.
